Over 500 Bibles have been placed in jails, prisons, half-way houses and on the street in the past 16 months. Requests have come in from New Mexico, Florida, Arizona and Indiana. Our daily mail often brings one letter with 35 names of prisoners requesting the "Life Recovery Bible." And, when the men and women use one of their pre-stamped envelopes which they receive each month from the prison it is a real priority when they ask for a "Recovery Bible."

Our people have been through 12 step programs over and over and over but they have never learned how to apply the principles to their personal life. This Life Recovery 12 step Bible is the answer because every page speaks to each individual and they use what they learn to transform their life.

† “Hi, My name is Linda. My friends Sarah and Michelle have been sharing there Recovery Bibles with me, and I absolutely love it. I was wondering if maybe your church could send me one.”

† “Hi! I just wanted to thank you for sending me the Recovery Bible. I went to court 7/3 and was bound over to grand jury, so I was upset. When I got back to my cell I heard God say to me "I have not left you in your time of need”.

For every 37 families in the United states one person is in jail or prison. We KNOW these Bibles are changing lives. God has called our ministry to not only get everyone in our county jail one of these Bibles but to get them into all of the jails and prisons. First we want others to understand how this specific Bible can reduce taxes as they change lives and begin to stop the revolving door policy of the jail and prison mentality.

Our biggest problem is finances. We have no overhead as we are all volunteers. We have a wonderful source for the Bibles but it still costs about $450 for 28 of the Bibles.
